THE MOMENT OF DECISION [Red Rover - Anon Post]

[At the stroke of midnight, or at what the screens claim is such, the panels in rooms with people begin to flash. After a few moments of the pulsing light, it appears to be locked to a forum space-for the most part, people who bother to investigate and type will find that they've been signed into an instant chat-board titled 'Witnesses', their names once again randomized creatures or duel monsters.

But two in particular will find themselves with more unique names. 'Arrow Red' and 'Arrow Blue'. ...and while the Witnesses find themselves able to read the conversation from these two, the Arrows themselves are locked to an entirely different chat-board. 'Competitors'.

More notably, the names don't change when they move between doors this time. Not for this conversation, at least.

The name 'CONQUEST' appears within the Competitor's channel, and for a moment, no messages appear.. ...but it won't take long. Certainly not if this isn't the first time.

[OOC - This is the Anonymous Only entry for SCREENS; where all 'conversations' focused on the decided battles will take place. In the spirit of the event, PLEASE make certain that your comment sends 'Anonymously'! We will message those we see failing to do so on this particular entry.]]

RED ROVER [PRIMARY INTERACTION POST]

YOU WAKE UP IN A ROOM...

When you wake, it is within a room of white. The floor and ceilings, with two doors and no windows, are white. The bed which you lay upon, with simple sheets and one blanket and pillow, are white. The clothes you wear- a simple shirt, pair of pants, and one collar around your neck- are White.

It could be considered solitary confinement of some kind, a prison cell perhaps- if not for the high quality of the surroundings. One of the doors even leads to a washroom filled with white towels, curtains, a mirror, and other such things.

What stands out most in the room barely stands out at all within the first glance. It would be easy to miss the small keyboard that juts out from the wall nearest the other door- at least until a massive screen appears upon it, revealing the figure of a man.

A man in a white mask with white hair.

"Aah. And so, you arise." Is it you, he speaks to specifically? Or are there others in this place? "You will find yourself with limited resources...unfortunately. Such is necessary… too much freedom and there become too many… Variables," the man seems to determine.

"I have left you my facility to explore… room by room, but I do not wish you to meet another. Not in person, at least… no. I shall leave you divided… hidden, until the greatest time. I am afraid that you are… not here for enjoyment," he admits, though perhaps this was already obvious. "Rather...there is something you must do for myself."

There is a pause. Long, and silent, his masked visage flickering upon the screen.

Until finally he breathes... "Battle. Be it by games or by blade. By hobby or by career… I shall have you battle, two by two. Yes… this I shall have you do. I will contact you, those who must fight. For now however my facilities are… yours."

"None shall meet by face, but you may…. I decided… still communicate through the written word. I leave you screens and pads with which to type. But your names shall remain mine. There will be no sharing these until I have declared it... Such is necessary," the masked man concludes, unmoving... not even to nod.

"Such is now your existence here."

The screen turns off. And the imprisoned will find truth to his words. Their names cannot be typed, not even in code; when they make messages to the others, it is sent either from an anonymous unrelated “duel monster” or simply the room they are located in. During the first two weeks in fact, they can't even describe their appearances, their careers; beyond vague details that could be applied to anyone, all personal points of note are 'auto-corrected' into scrambled letters or nonsense.

No one can enter a room that has a person within it- a dance of coming and going required for simple exploratory tasks. Yet there are many rooms to explore. They range from the mundane; kitchens, dining rooms, small studies with desks to work upon; to the more extravagant, such as rooms with swimming pools, entertainment systems, dance floors, board games, stuffed toys... even a nursery, which later in their time might possibly show signs of use.

And everything inside, short of the food, is white.

The man's words echo-

"I shall contact two of you shortly."

WELCOME TO RED ROVER

This is the Primary Event Log for the YuGiOh! Dressing Room's re-opening event, Screens! Players who have not lost their match-ups, or participated in a match-up at the time, will be using this log for the duration of the event. The exception is for Match Decision Rounds-which will be held on an Anon-Only post. (Naturally, to keep things simple and less confusing, This post isn't anon-enabled.)

If you have any questions, be sure to ask them below! A unique top-level for Match Results will also be made, so that people can track the event's progress and react accordingly.

WEEKLY UPDATE

> As of WEEK 3, prisoners will find themselves able to describe their appearances on the online system. They will still, however, be unable to note exact age, as well as names, places, and other unique details of canon.
> As of WEEK 5, prisoners are able to make note of precise age and species among themselves, as well as other appearance-related notes. Names, locations, and unique details/hobbies are still censored.
> As of WEEK 7, the windows of various rooms will act as 'Two-Way Mirrors'; those in courtyards cannot see through them, but those in rooms adjacent to these chambers Can. Sounds are still muted between these chambers, however. Unique hobbies and careers can also be named-however, they cannot be described in detail.
> As of WEEK 9, a noted change occurs in the sound permeability of the walls. High frequencies can pass through them, though people in the room with the sound source risk their hearing if attempts to communicate are made using this. Additionally, unique hobbies and careers can now be described in detail.
> As of WEEK 11, windows can now be seen through upon either side; however, they cannot fog, nor be written upon, and competitors will find that writing messages fails due to 'visibility limitations'. However, all things outside their Names can be shared in text chat.
> As of WEEK 13, all but names can be shared in the chat; however, voices can now carry through the doors and walls! While none are able to enter rooms with others inside, or break walls down, vibrations carry easily and messages upon windows can be read in full now.

BATTLE OF THE PLAGUES: CONCLUSION

They can't do anything in this fight.

For all that they cooperate, for all that they try, they can do nothing. "HAVE YOU ACCEPTED YOURSELVES YET?" Pestilence roars from on high, the darkness becoming unbearable as the storm rains down upon them. Setting buildings and people aflame, shocking them into crisps, and pounding them relentlessly with hailstones the size of cannons. The monsters cannot survive--and for those who summon them, time is limited.

"HAVE YOU READIED YOURSELVES, FOR THE TENTH PLAGUE?"

There is a click.

A bang.

And abruptly, all goes silent, the clouds parting. Those who can see, those who can fly, have had their efforts rewarded, an exhausted, semi charred and frosted Hatsu standing behind Pestilence as vines latch the demon's arms to the ground. He holds a gun to the back of the other's head with cold eyes...

...And this time, Pestilence is afraid.

Cut for GORE )

[[OOC - First off, thank you to everyone who participated in this Summer Long event! I hope you enjoyed it, and I much appreciate any critique you have on how things went.

Relating to that, I apologize profusely for the sudden dip in my own activity regarding the event in the final battle; things arose IRL, but it is no less my fault and responsibility for what occurred. All the same, I hope you were able to enjoy yourselves despite this, and that you are able to look forward to another year at the YGO-DR!

For those who participated in the event by the way, you get a Unique Prize; while an event is being run through the RNG from the Single Vote received, all participants can have their muse affected by another event from the existing list, regardless of what else is going on. Choose wisely, and have fun!]]

FINAL ROUND: THE BATTLE OF PLAGUES

As the imprisoned traverse the labyrinth, a great battle takes place in the center of the city. With each trap activated as part of the code, the walls begin to lower--however a cloud of haze, poisonous smog, prevents any from taking advantage of the fact. With the walls even slightly lowered however, they can see 'Jack'. Jack, the demon, Jack, the 'Coiled one', an immense black beast which soars through the air. It is almost serpentine, save for its avian head, and the massive wings which carry it in flight. The beast spits hot flames of some unknown origin toward its target--and as small as they are, standing atop the heart, they handle themselves well.

The walls continue to fall--but the serpent-like beast seems to begin to falter. Its wings flap painfully, and its cries grow strained. The walls at last crumble down entirely, leaving them in a locked city with a clear view ahead where the tower as well has sunk into the ground, just as every single building within it...

But with it, the demon falls as well. A massive collision with the ground, leaving a cracked crater in the cement as it roars a final bellowing roar in pain--and across from the participants, standing in the center, is that 'Yuuya' which others may have spotted. As he removes his mask however, it is clear that the illness he bore earlier was nothing compared to what he embodies. His eyes so bloodshot they appear near totally red, blood streaking from the ears, nose, and eyes--it spills from sores on the skin alongside vile puss, and from the mouth along with yellow bile. This emaciated figure, an embodiment of illness at its worst--

And as it raises its hands, Jack manages to raise his head one last time to send forth a blaze in its direction.

...A blaze that is blocked by a cloud of poison from the demon's very mouth. The fires however seem to do more than halt there however--they catch onto the gas as Jack collapses again with a final moan, their enemy hurriedly dispelling the smog. It would seem his greatest weapon has now been dealt with, save the cloud hovering far above... ...And now, the only way forward...

Is through him.

"Do you think you won..?" they wheeze, a bloodied, rotten grin on their face. "Think you've...figured me out for your master escape..? The show's not over, KIDS," he laughs, hands held out. "I've passed my 'exam'... ...I'm not about to end this without a bang! War, Famine... ...Those two thought they were soooo clever, with their murder games, their riddles... I've actually done something," he hisses vilely. "I've ACCOMPLISHED something..!"

"LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT THE WORD PESTILENCE MEANS!" With a sickening crack his arm seems to dislocate--but instead he sends it forward, releasing a mass amount of insects to the air. "LET ME SHOW YOU THE FIRST AND THE SECOND OF TEN PLAGUES..!" Beneath their feet the floor seems to crack. Water spills forth, rapidly turning red as it gains a coppery scent, and those who look forward will do well to keep in mind this count down. One and Two...

They cannot let him reach ten.

The true fight begins now.

===================================================================

[[OOC - The battle with Pestilence has begun, and it comes in three Mingle Stages. What this means is that everyone can tag and intermingle here, and the mods (me) will tag back when needed as Pestilence is fought. After a certain amount of time, the next stage will be written and added to the post, and at that point, everyone can start battling that stage as well (while still being able to tag those threads above it).

What is interesting however is that the details of the next stage depend entirely on how the battle is fought in threads before it. I won't go into details--that would ruin the surprise--however, rest assured that unless you try to force things toward that end, your muse will NOT be able to die in this fight. Powers are back, but those without them will find that their duel disks, or other personal possessions, are suddenly given a boost for the fight. Solid Vision monsters becoming Real Damage ones, as an example. The sky is the limit here, so have fun!]]

ROUND FOUR: HEARTLAND BATTLESHIP WEEK 2

Week one (Or...half really) of 'Heartland Battleship' is up everyone, and as such, we have WONDERFUL NEWS!

As you can see above, the final ring code has been unlocked, while numerous portions of the first have been revealed!

You can see them in position below, now.

[ ] [6] [4] [27] [8] [3] [ ] [1]

[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

[6] [4]

This leaves the remaining two rings to fill; from this point, you have a week to place ONE GUESS for each ring! Good luck!

Dimensional Heart to Heart

It has been some time since he has seen a familiar face.

Yuusei is the exception--the spirit from his world is a bit of a wanderer after all, and though he tends to hid himself beneath the sea, Jack can often find himself visited by the other nonetheless.

...To see the faces of others however is rare. He had made a habit to avoid them after all, given that his current state would often bring bad memories. Here, it was unavoidable. Here...

...He spares the energy to prolong one construct at the least, if only to regard Crow with an almost nostalgic stare.

"...Crow."

ROUND FOUR: HEARTLAND BATTLESHIP

Not everyone made it into the tower--but enough did that something changed.

While those in the tower recover and fight, those within the maze find themselves briefly shocked as the walls lower down by half--not enough to escape without preparation, but enough to see the great monstrosity that is Heartland Tower at this point in time. Impossible to have seen from its base, the 'heart' has been split open, creating an enormous platform; and at the moment, a number of others stand upon it.

It's impossible to see however--and impossible to fight against. With a great explosion, those in the maze and tower alike find themselves knocked out, vision growing black. And when they awaken...

The walls are back, and their locations changed. It is not, however, for naught this time...

Appearing before everyone is someone familiar--someone that some could have once called 'Jack', but his skin and clothes are now black with patterned red-gold, eyes like firelight...or perhaps more accurately, given the great wings behind him, like demon's.

'Those of you who can hear my voice, heed my words!' They are the words of a proud one indeed, but also one in dire need of aid. 'Your captor has attempted to regain his hold, but not for long; I have grown tired of watching such games go on...and I do not intend to sit idle as we are TOYED with..!

'He watches us from the tower, but there is only one true path there; I will buy you time, and keep this labyrinth from shifting as it did before. Until then, trigger the traps which hide the key..! This is not a battle which even I can wage alone...

'So move! Now!
' The ghostly apparition that is the demon Jack Atlas' projection will fade at that--but whether his message is understood...no one can be entirely sure.

===============================================

Pestilence, the sickly Yuuya Double, has revealed himself to a few of the competitors, and those with keen eyes will have even spotted him atop the platform described above. Now with the walls back up, he intends to repeat the same shuffling maze that came before...but he will not succeed.

The Earthbound God form of Jack Atlas has created for you an opening--he will be battling Pestilence from now until August 30th, or as long as it takes for the puzzle to be completed. And as for that puzzle?

A certain number of traps below must be triggered in groups, in order to create the final path. Each week, every single player in the event has the change to guess which numbers these are. The order of the numbers does not matter; all that matters is that the trap is listed. Whether or not players play out the triggering of the traps is up to you, but if solved quickly enough, a great mingle battle will occur!

This current week however, players get TWO guesses, to make up for the half week we have right now. Lucky you!

Now then!

At the moment, none of the numbers have been guessed. The combinations required are:

FIRST RING [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

SECOND RING [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

THIRD RING [ ] [ ]

Note that there are NO DOUBLES within each ring. So you won't be having a combination like '88888899' or anything like that. Each of the numbers within each ring will be different!

Below, you will find the 'map' of the Puzzle. As combos are filled, so to will the map, but beware! In order for a combination to 'click', at least half of the numbers guessed must be correct. Otherwise, it won't be marked on the map!!

One part vent, one part nobody else has posted for Round 3 so I thought I should

 [The walls are shifting.

The walls are shifting and it reminds him of last summer.

And while he's yet to actually get trapped somewhere, all the shifting is making it hard to breathe. It's too small in here, and he wants desperately to get out, but he can't find the exit. He can't find Chris, either, but he'd be happy for anyone right now.

For now, he's sitting against a wall, crying and panicking and hoping someone comes soon.]

EVENT NOTICE

Just a quick notice! To those who weren't already aware, the current round of the event has been extended a full week, to allow more time for the tower incidents to be played out/started. Expect the information for the next round to come next week!

TO THE BONUS ONES!

In the depths of the Labyrinth, someone stumbles.

"H-AHhh.hh... Kh... K-U-! KAHH-!"

They stumble, and they choke, the sound muffled by cheap fabric across their face.

Perhaps you see their shadow along the wall--a distant figure, slouched and slim, shuffling away from any nearby. Perhaps you catch them from behind--their jacket and clothes more like those of a small clinic patient's, goggles hung round the neck as an after thought, and hair looking as if it has spent far too long pressed flat against a pillow.

Or perhaps, impossibly...

"Nh... nn... hello... ..?" Their voice is hoarse and gravelly, either from disuse or constant coughing. There are bags sunken under the eyes, and the skin is as pale as death. This is one who has seen better days, that is for sure...

And it seems they were nonetheless one chosen for this place's mechanizations...

[[OOC - Note! Those who got the 'Bonus' option in their traps, or those travelling alongside said muses already, are the only ones who may tag this! Enjoy Yuuya now, everyone!]]

it's a ghostpost

[The ghost Yuuya hasn't really been making much of a stir despite the hazards in this event. That's because despite Himika making him solid (and black all over..and kinda creepy looking...and effectively dead inside), he's still...well, a ghost. He's pretty much been able to float past most of the obstacles he's wanted to avoid so far. The lava pit he's floating nearby now isn't any different, nor is the heat from it bothering him in the slightest.

The light reflecting off that bright red and orange substance onto his black and dark self does make him rather eerie, though. Eerie enough to maybe even get mistaken for an obstacle, even.

Still, none of that matters. What matters now is finding Himika again. He's been away from the lady far too long.]

ROUND 3: THE CORE

Something isn't quite right here.

As they come to the next ring, looking up gives a view of Heartland Tower--yet there is no way over the walls still, leaving the travellers to wander onward. There seems to be another in their midst however...perhaps another trapped like them? Who knows, but it seems that this other might just know a way into that tower...

...Is that really the way you want to go though?

================

It's time for round three! Once again the traps have been thinned by half, but what's this?!

There are only seven here!

As many will find in their inboxes, a 'bonus' was added to the list of traps, described below. Those with a 'bonus' will run into another Yuuya wandering the labyrinth, wearing a cough mask and looking altogether rather ill. He seems to be rather uneasy about all this, but hey, safety in numbers, right..?

These next two weeks mark the tail end of the first half, and those who push forward in posts involving this 'Yuuya' might just make their way into Heartland Tower! If you do, you're in for a surprise. If you don't..?

Well you're still in for a surprise.

Either way, happy plotting, and have fun!

======================

BONUS

Those with a Bonus option will find themselves approaching, or approached by, the Yuuya noted above. This Yuuya will try to keep them from finding Heartland Tower, but will eventually relent if pressured enough--within the tower, the fourth NPC, 'KLK Reiji' can be found, all depending on which way they go in the tower.

Will you go up? Or down? Be careful what you do in here, or you might find things worse off than before...

Round 2: Man-eating bugs still eat precious cinnamon buns, apparently.

Since getting washed out of that secret passage a week or so back, Yuto's been wandering rather aimlessly. Dark Rebellion, thankfully, is more focused on not losing his host to a trap than anything else right now, so things had been going pretty well for a while there.

And then he'd met Shun and Rise, and things went significantly less Pretty Well at that point.

He still feels bad every time he looks at his new companion, because there are lightning scars on him now that, while not nearly as bad as those of his own Shun, are still quite noticeable. And it's all because Yuto couldn't pull up the willpower to kick Dark Rebellion out of control until Rise had been briefly indisposed and Dark Rebellion had gone in for a killing shot out of sheer fury that this Shun had managed to defy him for so long with his own acrobatic skill and Rise tanking the lightning like a living shield. So Shun isn't dead because of him, but it would have been better if they'd never met in the first place.

"...Do you hear that?"

Not to mention this Shun has far better ears than him and is mostly better at dodging traps - Yuto's been taking a break from the Dark Rebellion armour since what happened - so he's starting to feel like a liability anyway.

"No."

"Something's buzzing up ahead. Insect wings. Sounds like a big group."

Yuto frowns and says nothing, merely nodding as Shun and Rise go up ahead, stepping carefully like they might hit a pressure plate. He's paying attention himself, of course, but Dark Rebellion hissing mutinously in his mind about how Yuto's betraying him as well now is not helping at all, and though he feels his foot sink into the floor in a way it shouldn't, it's too late for him to un-press the trigger by the time he realises.

That buzzing's getting a lot louder now, as bugs pour out of the walls...

[[Double-team post of bonded Yuto and Mew!Shun, facing down the fun fun times of flesh-eating bugs.]]

Round 2 - Into Pitch Black Darkness!

Great, another dark tunnel. Yugo's been flying with Yuya on his back ever since the first pit of the day opened up under their feet. Can't be too careful, but this labyrinth seem determined to steer them into this passage (because seriously, they can't have been going in circles earlier)...

The wings of his armor glow an almost iridescent green as they glide through, but it's still not much help no matter how bright he tries to make them shine. They can only see themselves and maybe two feet ahead, if that. Let's hope they find the end of this tunnel soon. Who knows, maybe they'll even bump into Yuto again.

"...At least there isn't anything trying to kill us I guess."

[Backdated to first round] Gets off ass and makes a post

Well, looks like she lucked out today. Or, that's what a normal person would say. But she's not exactly normal and a corner full of chests straight out of some fantasy movie rubs her the wrong way.

Yuura approaches with care. Their designer had strange tastes, but the sharp metal and leathery covers could prove useful if she can take it apart. It doesn't seem to have a lock. She reaches out and pushes the top off.

Empty. Her heart sinks. Of course it is. She lets the trunk lid fall.

The eyes on the front snap open.

"What the hell-?!"

Gunfire echoes through the walls, only ceasing when the trunk finally drops dead. Yuura, panting, lowers her gun.

"What the... why?"

Another chest runs for her. Yuura screams in frustration and begins to fire again.

=======

Leshath's not sure where he is in the labrynth right now, but the young man in the hakama and cargos isn't worried about that.

"We were never isolated this much the last time..." Sure, this isn't last times, he knows that, but its clever of the guy behind it. The organization of the people both in and out of the events brought them down - so, the best way to prevent that was to isolate everyone from each other. Leshath scowls up at the walls. "You bastard..."

Click. Leshath groans. "Crap..."

"Kuri?"

No. Leshath tenses. The voice is different, he thinks, but that doesn't calm his pulse. He spins towards the sound. It's a kuriboh - brown instead of black and white, nothing to worry about, not a threat -

"Kuri? Kuri?" They multiply before his hidden eyes, each one identical to the last. The group goes larger and larger, and in the back of his head, he can hear the Mastermind laughing.

The tears prick at his eyes and Leshath runs for his life.

So what's scarier than a stoic killer?

"Hnhnhnnhnhn..."

He should have been more cautious. But he could never bring himself to care about his wellbeing, for whatever reason.

"Hnhnhnahahahahah..."

What lurks in the shadows of this maze grins like a demon, with eyes that shine as brightly as one as well. Like the gleam on his scimitar, and on the gem at his brow, hair askew to the side thanks to what placed him in this state. He has no glasses. The gem repairs his sight just as much as it damages his judgement. And while the plants which struck him in the end and filled his lungs with gas are now shredded on the ground, the damage is done.

He grins.

The walls shift at random. What's more, you find, if you move one way, the body moves the other.

This one doesn't seem to mind. This one adapted--made changes. He found a way.

And if your face looks like Yuuya's, it's not going to end well as a result.

"HHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAAAA-!"

Lucky tyrants get stuck with other people's traps instead

[alternatively--in which someone's horribly ironic fear of the dark gets in the way (again). Dual post for sealedpendant (with tags most probably coming from Black Mist) and Infamous!Eliphas]

Though it may be nigh on impossible to see the unfortunate duo (trio?) trekking through this bizarre passage, one should have no trouble at all hearing the frequent thuds as one of them bumps into a wall or the curses that occasionally follow. After all, they do say other senses improve in one’s absence, don’t they?

If you strain your eyes to see, you may catch a glimmer of light through the dark haze—one that hovers within the hand of man that must be approaching fifty. Strangely enough, though the brilliant ball of light casts long shadows on both of their faces and on the ground behind them, it only illuminates a few feet before fading into complete darkness again. If he had to, he’d say it resembled an umbrella in a rainstorm. The few traps he has encountered so far may have been unusually tailored to his specific skill set, but all have carried a catch along with them.

The animated—and viscious—treasure chest, for instance, hadn’t proved to be any more difficult an opponent than the bio-terrorists that he has made a career out of capturing, but a slippery brat had nearly made off with his winnings. A brat that’s currently cowering beside him in a way that makes Eliphas half expect the boy to clutch onto his uniform at any sudden noise. Eliphas isn’t quite sure why he allowed the boy to tag along, but perhaps it has something to do with his strange resemblance to his nephew, or maybe there just wasn’t enough to time to get rid of him. He’d like to say it isn’t the former.

Regardless of the reason, he is aching to get out of here. Exactly how long is this passageway?

MEET SASHA (Backdating to round 1)

This is Sasha. For those who don't know, Sasha is a huge, twenty foot man-eating plant. Four corridors all lead to the same room, where a huge pink flower creature lies. It looks kind of like the head of a hibiscus, but the arrangement of petals is more like a rose- the petals clustered together.

However, on the petals, there are huge, powerful, shredding teeth, and there are long, tangling vines all around it. When it sees your character, it roars, showing the acidic drool it has dripping from every orifice, and the long, root-like tongue that replaces its stamen.

Its roots block off your escape.

And more vines shoot out at you to make you Sasha's meal.

ROUND 2: THE SECOND RING

 They've done it.

After facing grueling traps, they've moved farther into the city. Perhaps you've managed to be among those to find stores in the walls, gathering supplies as you go--perhaps you ran into someone else who did. Either way, whether aware or not, all those within the labyrinth have come closer to the middle of the city.

Welcome to the Second Ring.

=========================

Welcome to round two everyone! In this round, certain traps which were triggered the most in round one have been REMOVED from the list; you can see them below in gray. You'll also notice, that to match with the halved trap number, the number of traps muses could trigger has been shortened to three.

That in mind, the next set of traps have been slotted down, and alongside that comes an interesting possibility.

Throughout the next two weeks, some muses might end up spotting the shadow of someone as they pass through the labyrinth--you'll know who they are (a PM will be sent to them!). Keep an eye out for yourselves, everyone...

Round 1 | Immediately teleports into the Bottomless Pit

How the hell did this happen.

Isn't it just his luck, walking into a new room and immediately getting popped out above a seemingly bottomless pit (isn't such a thing impossible?), standing on a ledge just big enough for him, with his dog about two stories above him on a different ledge, barking at him.

On the bright side, this is not the strangest thing that has happened this week.

"Oi! What the hell just happened?!"

"...I can't understand you right now," Haou grumbles, looking carefully for a way up to Otogi before hopping the platforms up to him. "Save your barking for someone who can hear it."

Now, just time to find a way out of here... If it's anything like last year, it'll be another two months.
